For our organic arable farm in Biddinghuizen, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Agricultural Machinery Mechanic. Our company is a technology leader specializing in sustainable food production with respect for people, animals, and the environment. In addition to traditional agricultural machinery, we utilize advanced systems such as weeding robots, various sorting technologies, and GPS-guided equipment.

Responsibilities

As a mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of our machinery fleet, as well as the implementation of autonomous systems. The work is performed both independently and within a team.

Your main tasks include:

Preventive maintenance of agricultural machines and tools.

Troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions (mechanical, electrical, digital, and hydraulic).

Maintenance and technical support for agricultural robots and GPS systems.

Modification and improvement of existing equipment.

Keeping maintenance documentation and tracking technical data.

Welding and construction work.

Inventory management of parts and timely ordering.

Requirements

What we expect from our new colleague:

Experience in the maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery.

Technical and digital proficiency.

Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Accurate and structured approach to work.

Responsibility for inventory management and ordering necessary materials.

Willingness to perform tractor work when necessary (e.g., during peak periods), which requires a category "T" driver's license.

English language skills: Minimum B2 level.
